Abades, in Segovia, is one of those small towns that is part of the 89% of municipalities in Castilla y León with less than 1,000 inhabitants (830, according to INE 2022 data). Since September 2023, it has been part of the towns with fiber optic fiber of the Asteo network, which with its backhaul runs through the provinces of Burgos, Salamanca and Segovia.

18 km from the city of Segovia, Abades is a town that every year launches various initiatives through the various associations, such as the Theater Workshop La Bubilla maintain their activity throughout the year, as well as the clubs formed by their neighbors.

Abades is a small town that preserves the charm of the Segovian tradition. For lovers of baroque, this Segovian village offers the uniqueness of its parish church dedicated to San Lorenzo Mártir and has many other curiosities that are certainly worth knowing.
