Asteo Red Neutra is a wholesale telecommunications infrastructure operator specializing in the design, deployment, and management of transport networks (backbone and backhaul) and fiber to the home (FTTH) access networks. Its model focuses on rural Spain, where it promotes state-of-the-art infrastructure in some of the country’s least densely populated areas.
The objective of Asteo is to enable telecommunications operators to offer their customers the communication, television, and Internet services available on the market, regardless of their geographical location.
The company relies on a specialized team for the design and construction of telecommunications networks and is backed by the private infrastructure fund CEBF (Connecting Europe Broadband Fund).
ASTEO deploys and manages backbone network infrastructure, aggregation and backhaul networks, and FTTH access networks in the autonomous communities of Castilla y León, Extremadura, Castilla-La Mancha and Madrid, among others.
The company provides FTTH service with the latest technology on the market to more than 800 towns in these regions.
ASTEO has a backbone network infrastructure of more than 3,000 km of fibre optic cable.
Our infrastructure guarantees the best service quality standards in connectivity, regardless of whether it is a remote and sparsely populated location.
In 2022, 2023 and 2024, ASTEO was awarded the program ÚNICO-Banda Ancha.
The company is currently developing the Venus Spain and Portugal project, supported by the CEF Digital program..
