ASTEO Red Neutra is a new wholesale fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) operator, which has developed an innovative business model in the Spanish rural areas, enabling access to a state-of-the-art network.
ASTEO focuses on building ultra-modern FTTH and backhaul networks in rural environments, in some of the least densely populated regions of the country. The objective of the company is to enable all telecommunications operators to provide their customers with Internet access, digital TV, and any communication services available on the market.
ASTEO has a team specialised in the design and construction of this networks.
ASTEO is currently deploying fibre networks in the regions of Extremadura and Castilla León.
The scope of these ongoing phase 1 deployments will be to provide FTTH service with the latest technology on the market to more than 500 towns in these regions.
ASTEO will develop a backbone transmission infrastructure of more than 1,900km to connect these towns, and thus guarantee the best quality of service standards in connectivity, regardless of whether it is in a town with a remote geographical location and very low population density.
Asteo Red Neutra is the First Only Wholesale Fiber Operator 100% focused on ultra-rural areas (low and very low density zones).
