Ultrafast Fiber Optic in Veganzones

General

A small village of about 204 inhabitants, 33 minutes from Segovia (39 km), enjoys ultrafast fiber optic from Asteo. It is called Veganzones, a name that comes from medieval times when it was known as Vega de Infanzones.

Among the most emblematic places in this town are the Church of Santa Águeda, built in the 17th century by Pedro Brizuela in an Escurial style with a Baroque altarpiece, and the Hermitage of the Most Holy Christ of Humilladero, which probably dates back to 1773, according to an inscription on one of its windows.

Veganzones celebrates its festivities every year to honor the Virgen de la Piedra (August) and Santa Águeda (February).
