In this article, the ABC newspaper analyzes the great challenge facing Spain by 2025: that 100% of the population will have ultra-fast speed (100 Megabytes per second, Mbps) and that includes the most remote places. In this sense, Asteo Red Neutra explains in the text that “Local operators who have the role of developing the sector find added difficulties in the technical and economic part. Sometimes they cannot grow further because they do not have the resources to develop their infrastructure”, so the company is developing its rural network as a wholesale neutral operator so that other operators can use it and provide service to these areas.
