Asteo’s optical fiber connects Rapariegos

Connected Villages

Asteo’s fiber optic network connects Rapariegos, a Segovian municipality with a rich history and a valuable heritage, located in the north of the province, very close to Arévalo (Ávila) and within the surroundings of the Moraña region.

Thanks to our state-of-the-art fiber optic network, the residents of Rapariegos can now enjoy ultrafast internet with the same quality and speed as in large cities. This deployment is part of our commitment to the digital development of the rural environment, providing homes, businesses and local administrations with a stable, secure and efficient connection.

Rapariegos, with its imposing bell tower -one of the widest in Europe- and historical sites such as the Santísimo Cristo de Moralejilla Chapel or the Santa Clara Convent, is part of a map that is increasingly connected and prepared for the future. Tradition and innovation can and must coexist, and at Asteo we work every day to make this possible.

The deployment in Rapariegos has been financially supported by the UNICO Broadband 2023 program, promoted by the Ministry for Digital Transformation and funded by the European Union through NextGenerationEU.
