Villar de Gallimazo is a municipality of Salamanca, located about 35 km from the city of Salamanca, in the region of Tierra de Peñaranda, and already has Asteo’s ultrafast fiber. 
As a testimony of its history, its parish church stands out, under the invocation of San Pedro ad Víncula and San Felipe. It is a building with a Romanesque-Mudejar apse, an ashlar tower and a structure of historical tradition that continues to be the core of the religious and social life of the municipality.

One of the rural symbols of the municipality is its old silo – a “G-type silo” built in 1962 with a capacity of 1,000 tons – which recalls the historical importance of grain and storage in the local economy.
