At ASTEO RED NEUTRA we are proud to announce that we have been nominated in the “Champions in addressing digital divide in rural and remote areas“category of the European Digital Connectivity Awards 2025 for the project “FTTH Gigabit in ultra rural areas of Castilla y León”.. This nomination recognizes our commitment and effort in the deployment of the access network, a project that marks a before and after in the digital transformation of rural areas.
The nomination in the European Digital Connectivity Awards 2025 #EDCAwards2025 reinforces the valuation of our project by international experts and juries committed to excellence and innovation in the field of digital network infrastructures. Asteo’s deployments in Castilla y León reach more than 500 villages in six provinces of the community, most of them with less than 5,000 inhabitants.

The October 7 in Brussels the winners will be announced at the event promoted by the European Commission.
