What are consumers like in rural areas with less than 10,000 and 1,000 residents? These are some of the data provided by the ASTEO Observatory<\/a> according to the responses of residents in areas of less than 10,000 and 1,000 inhabitants that do have Internet service. <\/span><\/p>\n

  1. When looking for a service provider, consumers<\/strong> in rural areas are most interested in price and speed <\/strong>. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    1. But price is the key factor to hire <\/strong>the service . <\/strong> <\/span>\"\"<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        \n
      1. The larger the buyer, the more importance he places on <\/strong>technical support <\/strong>and\/or service, supplier proximity and brand awareness.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
          \n
        1. Younger people<\/strong>, between 18 and 34 years old, are the ones who give less importance<\/strong> to technical support<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
            \n
          1. The star connection devices are cell phones, laptops and Smart TVs.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
              \n
            1. Tablet or iPad users are 18 and 34 years old<\/strong>, while desktop PCs are the<\/strong> most used by those over 55 years old.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                \n
              1. 7 out of 10 workers in rural areas need the Internet<\/strong> for their daily work. And at least 4 out of 10 telecommute. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                  \n
                1. Regardless of age or gender, <\/strong>the activities they do most are surfing <\/strong>the net and using e-mail <\/strong>(9 out of 10); using social networks, blogs or messaging<\/strong> (8 out of 10); dealing with the bank (7 out of 10)<\/strong> and watching movies, series or sports<\/strong>(6 out of 10). <\/strong> <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                    \n
                  1. Watching movies\/series and sports<\/strong> is fundamental for the youngest group, between 18 and 34 years of age<\/strong>, and they are also the ones who make the most transactions with the bank<\/strong> through the Internet. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
                      \n
                    1. The use of the service for online training<\/strong> is more frequent among women and those between 18 and 44 years of age. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
